Let's Create Something Beautiful
From a young age, I’ve always been captivated by art and design. Growing up in Maine, I learned to draw by sketching my favorite baseball cards, which sparked a lifelong passion for creativity. As I grew older, graffiti became a huge influence on my design style. It wasn’t just about art but about competition—an outlet that combined my love for sports and creative expression. In high school, I balanced my artistic pursuits with varsity soccer and alpine skiing, earning the title of Most Artistic in my graduating class. My design journey continued with multimedia courses at LRTC, followed by a major in Visual Arts and a minor in Fine Arts at Lyndon State College. During my time there, I showcased my work at the Quimby Gallery and took on a role as Lab Tech for the Design Department, creating marketing materials for the college and its departments. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA and began my professional career with an internship at Day’s Jewelers.
After college, I joined Hark, a startup design agency in Burlington, Vermont, as the second hire. Over the next 13 years, I helped grow the company from just 2 clients to over 300, transforming the business into a thriving agency. At Hark, I wasn’t just leading design work—I was also deeply involved in branding, packaging, typography, web design, and more. I took on everything from creating websites to directing videos, developing motion graphics, leading social media campaigns, and even presenting key projects to clients. My experience spans a wide array of services like UX/UI design, campaign creation, package design, storyboarding, video production, and analytics-driven research. We launched over 100 websites and earned numerous awards for our efforts in marketing and advertising.
Now, after moving to Edinburgh, Scotland, to be with my wife and our three kids, I’m excited to continue exploring new opportunities in design. Whether it’s collaborating on a new branding project, diving into motion graphics, or tackling a large-scale web design, I bring a deep passion for creating experiences that connect with audiences and make an impact.
